A Connective Framework to Support the Lifecycle of Cyber–Physical Production Systems

The potential benefits of the adoption cyber-physical production systems (CPPSs) and their significant role in enabling smart manufacturing is well recognized today. However, it less clear how such CPPS can be most effectively consistently engineered maintained throughout lifecycle due to existing divide information technology (IT) operational (OT) landscape ad hoc integration practices that result inconsistent data models at various levels processes. work presented this article addresses problem by envisioning a connective framework support engineering through use set digital twins consistent with real system its lifecycle, not just used design deployment phases.
